Upcycled Trash Design / Zero Waste
Experimenting with different materials and inspired by some of my artwork from in OpenAI, I designed a zero-waste couch and bag from upcycled plastic.
I gathered plastic scraps and utilized quilting and sewing techniques to transform them into a flexible yet sturdy material that enabled the creation of a zero-waste bag and couch chair. These products not only exhibit functionality and trendiness but also highlight the significance of our waste, the longevity of our discarded materials, and the unlimited potential of Upcycling. My intention is to create awareness about the value of our trash and encourage the adoption of Upcycling practices to reduce waste and prolong the life of materials.
