Color & Trend Design Internship

Under Armour provides a unique 12-week internship experience that gives students the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while providing access to mentors, executive speakers, social activities and professional networking.

In these 12 weeks, I was able to create mood-boards and search for inspiration. I also learned about color stories and editing images for "Playbook ", amongst other everyday tasks. For my personal project, I researched current macro-trends and how Under Armour can address them.

Project 1: Everyday Hurdles


  • What: Marketing Campaign 
  •  Target Audience: Everybody Goal: Meet the consumers needs at every touchpoint, which includes "life outside the gym." 
  •  How: Spread messages through soda/ media on how to incorporate UA technology in everyday lives and the "Everyday Hurdles" of life. 
  • When: Timeless Macro trends:  inclusivity / Athleisure
  • UA Values: Love Athletes"

Project 2: Archives

  • What: Graphics Concept
  • Target Audience: UA Loyalists, Gen Z
  • Goal: Design a capsule collection to celebrate Under Armour’s "DNA" using images based on the brand's historical achievements.
  • When: Under Armour’s 30th anniversary (2026)
  • Macro trends: Sport Nostalgia, Future Past, Soft Distortion
  • UA Values: "Celebrate the Wins" 



Project 3: UA for Everybody

  • What: Gender Inclusive Performance Wear
  • Target Audience: Everybody
  • Goal: Celebrate + support all physiques, including people who are going through or have gone through transition.
  • When; Launch during Pride month
  • Macro trends: Inclusivity
  • UA Values: "Stand for Equality"  / "Love Athletes"
